What movies do you suggest?
I love movies like The Constant Gardener and Hotel Rwanda. I like movies like this that deal with humanitarian work or the struggles in Africa. Do you have any suggestions?
Even movies like Schindler’s List. Can you just suggest anything that has substance?
And Last King of Scotland:

Amazing film. Leonardo DiCaprio with a Zimbabwean accent = win.
There’s always Tears of the Sun too:

Very American blockbuster though (aka unrealistic) but I’ll admit I enjoyed it.
These are all very big and well-known films. Maybe someone else can recommend some less well-known films since this is a genre I am interested in too.

If you like African stories, I suggest the miniseries "Roots."
